The imoto of the Kyonshi family wants to request Seimei to help find her kidnapped brothers.

A Request[]
Seimei, Yaobikuni, Kohaku and Hiromasa suspect that Dark Seimei was the one bringing chaos to Kyoto. A spirit who introduces herself as Kyonshi Imoto (youngest of the family) is seeking help for her kidnapped brothers. Kyonshi Imoto sees Kohaku and caresses him, despite Kohaku’s contradictions he is instantly tamed. The Imoto describes the spirit that captured her brothers to match the description of Ootengu, shocking Hiromasa. He explains Ootengu used to fight along side him.

The group arrive at last place that the Kyonshi brothers were playing. They hear a enchanting flute playing which Hiromasa instantly recognises as Ootengu’s. Ootengu reveals himself and also recognises Hiromasa. He reassures Kyonshi Imoto that her brothers are working very hard for him. This angers Hiromasa. Ootengu flies off leaving Seimei and his team to fight his minions. After their defeat leaves a confused Hiromasa and a suspicious Seimei. Ootengu had been manipulating the spirits. The spirits wake up in more confusion. The spirits recall that they were working to expand a nether rift until their bodies broke. They also confirmed that the Kyonshi brothers were working among them.
Crazy Spirit[]
They approach the rift and encounter many unresponsive spirits working, including Kyuumei Neko. She hears Seimei’s name and immediately remembers how much she hates him. After her defeat, Kyonshi Imoto tames her. Hiromasa questions Kyuumei Neko if she had seen the spirits that looked like Kyonshi Imoto. She denies it, but “brothers” slipped out of her mouth giving away the truth. Kyuumei Neko leaves in rage. Kyonshi Imoto spots her brother, who is unresponsive because of the heavy spell. Seimei’s jutsu does not work on him. Ootengu and Yuki Onna appears, who comments that Hiromasa became weak. Ootengu reveals that his “lord” had given him power but still seeks for more. Hiromasa is extremely indignated by the insults. After Ootengu’s defeat, Dark Seimei appears and remarks on his uselessness. Kuro Seimei flicks away Ootengu’s apology stating that the rift was already “vast enough.” He disappears with his shikigami without revealing much, leaving a troubled group. Meanwhile, Kyonshi Imoto successfully woke her brother, Kyonshi Ototo.
Where is Big Bro?[]
Kyonshi Ototo remembers that their elder brother had died from the exhaustion of working. But then they realise death was not their problem. That meant that their eldest brother was in the Underworld, the place unaccessible if alive. Seimei decides to call the emissaries of the underworld to help them.
